The Lola T260 is a race car developed by Bob Marsten (overseen by Eric Broadley) for the 1971 Can-Am auto racing series. For that season, Lola introduced both a new car and a driver after several seasons of losing to the McLaren team. The V8 engine was capable of over 700 horsepower, and 620 foot-pounds of torque. Despite these upgrades, the 1971 season was still dominated by McLaren Cars, winning 8 out of the 10 races!
