An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More)

Martin Sheen (born Ramon Antonio Gerard Estevez) is an Irish/Hispanic actor from the 1960s to the present. Some of his roles include: Apocalypse Now, Wall Street, The Subject Was Roses. Badlands, TV's "The Execution of Private Slovik", and he starred in TV's "The West Wing" as The President of the United States. He is a major political activist (he has been arrested many times at demonstrations) and he is the father of Charlie Sheen and Emilio Estevez. He started acting at a time when Hispanic actors had very limited acting choices, and he chose his stage name partially to hide his ethnicity (the Sheen came from Bishop Fulton Sheen). It took a number of years for him to achieve significant success, and his first big success was on Broadway in The Subject Was Roses (he also played the same role in the movie version). He never changed his name legally from Ramon Estevez, and he said that he regretted using a stage name! As of 2021, he is still alive at the age of 80!
Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Martin Sheen!

Our consignor is a very longtime collector of movie paper who regularly attended the Chiller collectible show. This signed item (and the others offered from this collector) were purchased at a Chiller convention over the years. In some cases, he had them signed by the celebrity when they appeared in person at the show, and in other cases, he purchased them from Kevin Clement, who runs the Chiller shows, and in all cases, he (and we) believe this signature is authentic.

Condition: very good. There are three small "bumps" in the right border, but the still is otherwise in pretty good condition.
