Jim Varney was an American actor, comedian, and writer from the 1970s to 2000. He was well-known for his role as Ernest P. Worrell, who was used in numerous television commercial campaigns and movies, and the catchphrase "KnowhutImean, Vern?". Some of his movies include: Toy Story (as the voice of Slinky Dog), Ernest Goes to Camp, and The Beverly Hillbillies. He passed away in 2000 at the age of 50 from lung cancer.
