An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Internes Can't Take Money (released in England as "You Can't Take Money"; released in other English-speaking countries as "Student Doctors Can't Take Money"), the 1937 Alfred Santell medical hospital doctor crime thriller (this was the first of the Dr. Kildare series; in this first movie only, Kildare was played by Joel McCrea; in subsequent movies he was played by Lew Ayres) starring Barbara Stanwyck, Joel McCrea (as Dr. Kildare), Lloyd Nolan, Stanley Ridges, and Lee Bowman. Note that the word "intern" as used for an apprentice doctor in the U.S. is apparently not used in England or Australia, because they had to change the title so as to not use that word, surely because their citizens would not understand what it meant! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: very good. Learn More about condition grades
