An Original 1958 (from the first release of this movie in Poland) Vintage Theatrical Folded Polish Movie Poster (23x33; measures 23" x 33 3/4" [58 x 86 cm]) (Learn More) Sitting Pretty, the 1948 Walter Lang romantic family live-in babysitter comedy ("Based on a novel by Gwen Davenport"; the first of the "Mr. Belvedere" series) starring Robert Young, Maureen O'Hara, Clifton Webb (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film; as Mr. Belvedere), Richard Haydn, Louise Allbritton, Randy Stuart, Ed Begley, Larry Olsen, John Russell, Betty Ann Lynn, and Willard Robertson. Note that the character of Mr. Belvedere was introduced in this movie. He proved to be very popular and a sequel was made the following year called "Mr. Belvedere Goes to College", followed by a second and final sequel two years later, called "Mr. Belvedere Rings the Bell".
