Cline screwball comedy ("Meet The Great Nose It All!"; story by W.C. Fields, but he is billed as "Original Story, Otis Criblecoblis" on the posters; a ridiculous story that makes no sense at all, and was merely a showcase for Fields' comedy, along with Universal's great teen starlet Gloria Jean!) starring W.C. Fields, Gloria Jean, Leon Errol, Billy Lenhart & Kenneth Brown (billed as "Butch and Buddy"), Susan Miller, Franklin Pangborn, Charles Lang, and Margaret Dumont NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Maidoff Condition: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some creases and tears and tiny paper loss in the vertical foldline between the middle and bottom crossfolds. There was some separation and tiny paper loss on parts of some foldlines. There were some smudges in the white background areas. There were some pinholes, creases, tears, and tiny areas of paper loss around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, but the restorer needed to paint over parts of the borders and white background areas. I think the poster will display great on anyone's wall!
