Who will dare?"; the second of the Universal Frankenstein movies, and the only example I am aware of where a sequel is clearly superior to the original movie!; this is James Whale's masterpiece, and almost everyone agrees it is among the finest movies ever made, regardless of genre) starring Boris Karloff (as the Frankenstein monster), Colin Clive (as Dr. Henry Frankenstein), Valerie Hobson (as the bride of Dr. Frankenstein), Elsa Lanchester (in the title role as the bride of the Frankenstein monster, and also as Mary Shelley!), Una O'Connor, Ernest Thesiger (as Dr. Pretorius), E.E. Clive, O.P. Heggie, John Carradine, Dwight Frye (as Karl), Gavin Gordon, and Neil Fitzgerald NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this ad was removed from a movie magazine that was printed when this movie first came out. There is part of an ad for Les Miserables on the reverse side of the ad, but we don't picture it, because it is incomplete and would surely be of little interest. But this ad can be matted or framed for little money and makes a great inexpensive display! Condition: fair to good. The ad is trimmed, and we don't know by how much. It slightly affects the "T" of "TOPS" and the "P" of "PREVIOUS" at top left, and some of Lanchester's hair. There are some tears and tiny paper loss around the edges (see our image). Still, this is an original ad for this classic movie from 1935, and of course, you know that posters from 1935 a prohibitively expensive, so this is an attractive alternative.
