Morse detective newspaper crime thriller ("That daring girl reporter solves a baffling murder case."; "Based on the popular action cartoon strip!"; "Based on the popular cartoon feature!"; "Based on the comic strip created by Monte Barrett & Russell E. Ross") starring Rosella Towne (in the title role as Jane Arden), William Gargan, James Stephenson, Benny Rubin, and Dennie Moore. Note that the comic strip this movie was based on began in 1928, and in 1937, it was given a radio show as well. This movie was intended to be the first in a series, but that did not happen, for reasons we do not know, because this was apparently a solid B-movie. Also note that star Rosella Towne lived a long life, and passed away in 2014 at the age of 96. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and tiny tears and tiny bits of paper loss in the vertical foldline between the top and bottom crossfolds, with fine surface paper loss on the other foldlines. It had some pinholes and tiny paper loss around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects. Learn More about condition grades
