Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this ultra rare pressbook, and it sold for $17,500! Now we have been consigned a second example of this pressbook, which is not in as nice condition as the earlier one, but it is uncut and complete, and certainly can display wonderfully on the new owner's wall! Also note that we have provided an image of the front and back covers of this pressbook (if the back cover is not the poster page, we photographed the interior poster page), and of course, the winner of this auction will receive the entire single pressbook we are auctioning (plus any supplements or heralds described above)! Also note that this pressbook is complete and uncut! Given that theater owners received pressbooks partly in order to create their newspaper advertising, and quite frequently cut them up for that purpose, it is rare to find a pressbook that IS complete and uncut!

Note that for the past 18 months, we have auctioned one of the most extraordinary collections of pressbooks ever assembled! What made it so extraordinary is that it contained lots and lots of extremely rare pressbooks, mostly from the 1930s and 1940s, including many that we had never auctioned before. In our last few regular auctions, we auctioned most of the last of this gigantic collection, and now, in this April Major Auction, we are auctioning the very last of them, and one quick look tells you that "we saved many of the very best for last"! This is your FINAL opportunity to buy from this extraordinary collection!

Condition: good to very good, NO CUTS. The pressbook is complete and uncut. It was folded once in each direction. The covers have mostly separated down the spine, and the front cover has separated across the middle, and there is some separation on the other fold, with some tiny paper loss at the bottom center of the cover and some scuffs and tiny bits of surface paper loss on parts of the folds. The pressbook must be handled very carefully, as it is fragile, but this is not unusual with pressbooks from this time.
