Hull"; about an Arab sheik who meets a female British socialite, and he falls heavily for her, but she wants no part of him, so he kidnaps her and takes her to his palace in the desert; she rejects him, but after she is re-kidnapped by bandits does she start to realize that she has fallen in love with the sheik, who rescues her in the nick of time!) starring Rudolph Valentino (in the title role as Sheik Ahmed Ben Hassan), Agnes Ayres, Ruth Miller, George Waggner, and Adolphe Menjou. Note that Valentino had risen to stardom in the late 1910s, but this movie made him a superstar! He was just 31 years of age, and the entire world mourned his passing. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. It has clear defects, which are likely to be very noticeable in our "large" or "super-sized" images that you can click on from our small image at right (although some of the defects may not be so easily seen in the images). Therefore, in addition to the images, we have also noted in words what these defects are in our "Description of Defects" section above. We know that some collectors could accept this item's defects, and display it as is, and we also know that many collectors would only be happy with this item if they had it restored, so please do not bid on it unless you can accept it as it is, or are willing to pay to have it properly restored. Of course, you should realize that if you do not bid on this item because of its condition defects, it may be quite some time before you see this item offered again! Learn More about condition grades
