Arrested!"; "Story by Charles Marion and Edward Bock") starring Chester Morris (in the title role as Boston Blackie), June Vincent, Richard Lane, Patricia Barry (billed as "Patricia White"), Edward Norris, and George E. Stone. Note that this is one of fourteen movies made in the 1940s with Chester Morris playing the fictional character "Boston Blackie", a former crook turned detective (there had been ten silent movies made in the 1920s), all of which were based on short stories by Jack Boyle. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss in the middle 2" of the middle horizontal fold and small paper loss at the bottom crossfold. It had a partial extra vertical fold to the left of the regular one, between the middle and bottom crossfolds. It had minor wear on the folds and a few pinholes, tears, and tiny paper loss in the blank borders. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking.
