A Linenbacked Swiss Travel Poster (measures 13" x 19 3/4" [33 x 50 cm]) (Learn More)

Chemin de fer Territet-Glion Rochers de Naye sur Montreux, the circa 1904 Swiss train railroad travel poster promoting travel to the Rochers de Naye mountain in Switzerland aboard the Montreux-Glion-Rochers-de-Naye Railway, and featuring a colorful and detailed map of the railroad weaving its way up to the mountain summit that overlooks Lake Geneva by Reckziegel Anton. Note that the French phrase "Chemin de fer" nowadays is often used to refer to baccarat, the casino gambling game (that was the original name of it), but the phrase actually means "the railway", which explains why it is on this railroad travel poster! If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info:

UPDATED 03/31/2014: Note that a knowledgeable collector pointed out that this poster is circa 1904 and not 1930s as we initially listed.
