eMoviePoster.comAuction History Result 2g622 ODDO pressbook '67 Nicki Holt, Brigitta Reim, lots of nude sexploitation images! Date Sold 10/12/2014Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Pressbook (pb; measures 8 1/4" x 11" [21 x 28 cm]; 6 pages) (Learn More) Oddo, the 1967 Nick Millard (billed as "Joe Davis") San Francisco California Vietnam veteran post-trauamatic-stress-disorder sexploitation movie ("Their strange madness") starring Martin Donley, Nicki Holt, Brigitta Reim, Janice Kelly, and narrated by Allen Sterling. Note that this is a really strange movie, about a Vietnam veteran returning to his San Francisco home, and finding his father a drunk and his stepmother a lesbian, and he starts roaming the streets, interacting with sleazy women, and engaging in random acts of violence (and there are "flashbacks" to his war experiences, which are shown in double negative). This movie sort of has a cult following, but it is very strange! Note that this movie was "sold" to the public as a typical sexploitation movie of the era, with images of sexy naked girls, and the odd tagline "Cinema 'OP' Art". Important Added Info: Note that this pressbook contains unclothed women, so we have placed white bars over those areas, for those who are bothered by such images. Of course, the actual pressbook does not have those white bars! Also note that we have provided an image of the front and back covers of this pressbook (if the back cover is not the poster page, we photographed the interior poster page), and of course, the winner of this auction will receive the entire single pressbook we are auctioning (plus any supplements or heralds described above)! Also note that this pressbook is complete and uncut! Given that theater owners purchased pressbooks partly in order to create their newspaper advertising, and quite frequently cut them up for that purpose, it is rare to find a pressbook that IS complete and uncut! Condition: good, NO CUTS. The pressbook has slightly darkened throughout. There are tape stains, yellowed tape, and some pen marks within the pressbook pages. Learn More about condition grades
