He was a drug addict who spent 11 years in prison for armed robbery and drug offenses. He is a favorite of Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez. Some of his movies include: Heat, Grindhouse, From Dusk Till Dawn, Desperado, and Machete (in the title role). As of 2021, he is still alive at the age of 77!
