Artist: Christian Broutin Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned four examples of this French poster, which is a "country of origin" poster for this French movie, and the last one sold for $750! Also note that there is a tiny "11/61 Depot legal 61/4" with "26734" by that at the bottom of the poster. This means that this poster is from the first release in 1962 (but likely printed at the end of 1961), and that this is the first time the poster was printed. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had pretty minor fold wear. It had some tiny paper loss in small parts of the borders. It had writing on the back that bled through in parts of the top background areas, and it also had some creases, stains, and smudges in those areas. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can clearly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
