We have only auctioned one in the past six years. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Note that this poster ships in a very long tube (at least 33" long, but possibly 50" long or more). Therefore the shipping for this poster will be more than that for a poster that ships in a tube 32" or shorter, and possibly much more. Please bear this added shipping expense in mind before bidding on this poster. You can tell how long of a tube this poster needs to ship in by looking at the shorter dimension of its length and width and then adding 4" to that (so a 47" x 63" poster will need to ship in a 51" long tube). Also note that this special "all Star Wars" auction began with a phone call from a VERY long time collector of Star Wars posters! He told us that he had reached a point in his life where he was wanting to sell his collection, and he asked if we could do it all at one time. Because he had 174 posters (including many of the most rare and desirable ones), we were happy to comply, but we told him that we would like to also add additional rare Star Wars posters from other collectors, and he agreed, and after we were consigned an additional 117 posters and related items, we have our auction! This item is one of the additional 117 items that we were consigned from other collectors. They REALLY came through with wonderful additional items that really add to the overall auction! Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The poster had some creases and scuffs scattered across the top center of the image, with a few scattered in the rest of the image, typical of 40x60s of this period that were used. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was well backed, and the creases and scuffs are now far less noticeable, but you can see signs of them, especially when you look at the poster close up. Learn More about condition grades
