eMoviePoster.comAuction History Result 7h339 LOT OF 10 PARDON US R50S 8X10 STILLS R50s great images of Stan Laurel & Oliver Hardy! Date Sold 5/29/2016Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 10 8x10 stills from the 1950s re-release of Pardon Us, the 1931 James Parrott screwball crime comedy ("The world has been waiting for THEIR FIRST FULL LENGTH TALKING PICTURE!"; "They made their first mistake when they tried to sell liquor to a policeman!"; with dialogue written by H.M. Walker, and produced by Hal Roach) starring Stan Laurel, Oliver Hardy (Laurel and Hardy; in their first full length talking picture), June Marlowe, Wilfred Lucas, Walter Long, and James Finlayson. Note that this movie was a feature-length parody of the previous year's box office hit, "The Big House"! Note that we can't say for certain that these are from the 1950s (they are undated with no information on them), but they seem to be in "too good" condition and on "too white" paper to be originals, but they are clearly high quality, and our best guess is that they are from when these shorts were re-released to TV in the 1950s. Condition: very good. A few of the stills have darkened slightly. Otherwise, they are in nice condition! Learn More about condition grades Titles included:
