Here is vivid drama that lifts you out of the ordinary to something you've never seen on the screen before. Galley ships, galley slaves, fighting corsairs, dainty damsels, harem slaves all in one master film."; "Gallant were the galleys of the Spanish Main of old, from their sterns of hammered silver to their figureheads of gold... and gallant were the oarsmen who sped them through the brine, with the swirl of foam behind them and the luring shark behind.
