Sunrise: A Song of Two Humans, the classic 1927 F.W. Murnau silent romantic love triangle crime melodrama ("The outstanding achievement of the motion picture art"; "Scenario by Carl Mayer"; winner of the Best Picture Academy Award) starring George O'Brien (as "The Man"), Janet Gaynor (winner of the Best Actress Academy Award for this film; as "The Wife"), Margaret Livingston (as "The Woman From The City"), Bodil Rosing, and J. Farrell MacDonald. Note that at the very first Oscar ceremony, this movie was awarded the Oscar for "Best Picture, Unique and Artistic Production". Also, Janet Gaynor won that first Best Actress Academy Award (it was for this movie and two others she made that year).

Important Added Info: Note that we have only auctioned two examples of this local theater herald, and only one in the last 11 years. One of those examples has now been reconsigned to us, so this is still only one of two examples we have ever auctioned! Also note that this herald was from when this great movie played at the Times Square Theatre in New York City (it only played twice a day and it was reserved seating only!).
