Gasnier silent marriage romantic love triangle family relationship melodrama ("He was married to another- But their love lived on like... Faint Perfume"; "By Zona Gale"; about a man who divorces his wife after six years, and she goes to her hometown with their young son, and the father follows her to try to get custody of the boy, but things get really complicated when he falls in love with his son's cousin!) starring Seena Owen, William Powell, Alyce Mills, Mary Alden, Russell Simpson, and Betty Francisco. Note that this was William Powell's ninth movie, and that he had worked his way up to second billing. He was still a few years away from becoming a top billed star, but once he did (and once audiences heard his wonderful voice in sound movies), he remained a top star for many years! Also note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this poster, and that was 24 years ago, when it sold for $1,200. That poster has now been reconsigned to us after all these years, so this is still the only example of it we have ever auctioned! Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and minor wear on the folds. It had pinholes around the edges. It had some faint stains scattered in the purple background and a few pinholes scattered in the image.
