An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Five of a Kind, the 1938 Herbert I. Leeds quintuplets family relationship comedy ("They Sing! They Dance! They Act! They Make Music!"; "They dance They sing They make music!") starring the Dionne Quintuplets (Cecile Dionne, Yvonne Dionne, Annette Dionne, Emilie Dionne, and Marie Dionne), Jean Hersholt, Claire Trevor, Cesar Romero, Slim Summerville, Henry Wilcoxon, Inez Courtney, John Qualen, Jane Darwell, and Pauline Moore. Note that this was the quintuplet's third movie! Of course, their story was tragic, as the Ontarian government seized the five girls, making them wards of the state, and profited from them by making them a tourist attraction! Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: very good to fine. The glass slide itself is in nice condition and the cardboard holder has some minor smudges (as can be seen in our super-sized images).
