Ships for Victory, the 1942 U.S. World War II (WWII) Navy poster ("U.S. Maritime Commission"; "'Speed - More Speed' - Franklin D. Roosevelt") encouraging increased productivity, and featuring artwork of the Maritime Commission emblem showing a bald eagle holding an anchor!

Condition: good. The poster was never folded. There is a slightly diagonal crease across the bottom of the background area. There are many small tears around the edges of the poster and a semi-circular area of paper loss in the top blank border. After a simple linenbacking by a talented professional, the poster will look great and will only require restoration to the border defects described above.
