Important Added Info: Note that this card was once owned by the legendary Kobal Collection, which had an amazing collection of stills and lobby cards that they leased to newspapers and magazines. It is an original 1937 lobby card, but it was stamped on the back by the people at the Kobal Collection, because, after they had trouble getting rare photos back that they had lent to magazines, they started stamping items they lent so that those people would know they needed to return them. Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good. The card has darkened, typical of Columbia lobby cards of this period. There are creases, tears, and tiny areas of paper loss around the edges, with tape repairs on the back of the tears. There was paper loss in the bottom left blank corner and in the bottom right corner, and someone taped a piece of another card to the back of those areas (they also performed restoration to the missing tiny text in the bottom right), but you can still clearly see signs of the restoration and the unrestored defects around the edges. Please look at our super-sized images to get a good sense of the exact condition of this card before placing a bid. Learn More about condition grades
