Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Half-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 22" x 28") (Learn More) Where Are Your Children?, the 1944 William Nigh World War II (WWII) troubled teenager crime murder melodrama ("Smashing drama of a generation on the loose!"; "Original Story by Hilary Lynn"; about a teen girl whose parents work in a defense plant during World War II, and she gets involved with a young man, but after he enlists, she hitchhikes to his Navy base, and the people who pick her up commit a robbery and a murder!) starring Jackie Cooper, Gale Storm, Patricia Morison, John Litel, and Gertrude Michael. Note that this movie was one of the earliest to deal with the then new phenomenon of "latchkey" children who were left alone all day while their parents worked or served in World War II. Of course, this problem is far greater today, and little, if any, progress has been made in combating it! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. There is paper loss in the lower right corner, but fortunately it only extends into the very edge of the image. There are smudges, creases, and minor stains around the edges of the poster and in the yellow background area.. Note that this poster has never been folded! Most half-sheet posters were folded twice (once horizontally and once vertically) right off of the printing press. It is very difficult to find an unfolded copy of most half-sheets, especially from before 1970! Learn More about condition grades
