the 1960s double-bill release ("Unspeakable horrors paralyze the living and resurrect the dead!") of The Devil's Partner, the 1961 Charles R. Rondeau soul-selling black magic horror thriller ("we do not recommend this picture for those who are easily shocked"; "half man, half beast, he sold his soul FOR PASSION") starring Edwin Nelson, Jean Allison, Spencer Carlisle, Edgar Buchanan, and Richard Crane AND Plan Nine From Outer Space, the 1958 Ed Wood (billed as "Edward D. Wood, Jr.") science fiction (sci-fi) zombie horror thriller ("Unspeakable horrors from outer space paralyze the living and resurrect the dead!"; some consider this to be the very worst movie ever!) starring Bela Lugosi, Vampira, John Brechinridge, Lyle Talbot, and Tor Johnson. Note that Lugosi died during the beginning of filming in 1956, but the ever resourceful Ed Wood (knowing his movie would be doomed without his top star) hired a chiropractor to film Lugosi's scenes, and he dressed in a vampire-like outfit and held a cape high over his face, and no one knew the difference!
