An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed Deluxe 7 1/4" x 9 1/2" [18 x 24 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Betty Blythe was an actress from the 1910s to the 1960s. Some of her movies include: A Mother's Sin, Queen of Sheba, and She. She was a top star of the 1920s, but continued making many movies all the way into the 1960s (many were just bit parts). She passed away in 1972 at the age of 78. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Betty Blythe (she made a joke because she was inscribing it to Art, and she wrote "To Art for 'Arts' sake"!)! The photo is also hand signed by the photographer, Buttemere, in the upper right border. Also note that this still has been trimmed and it now measures 7 1/4" x 9 1/2" [18 x 24 cm]. Finally, note that this is a deluxe still printed on double weight paper stock. Our consignor is a longtime collector who purchased this signed item from a reputable dealer. He does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we believe the signature to likely be authentic. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction. On non-signed items, we give a "lifetime guarantee" on everything we auction, but on signed items, we give the above modified guarantee of 30 days after the auction closes.
