Nat C. Goodwin (born Nathaniel Carl Goodwin) was an actor, comedian and vaudevillian from the 1870s to the 1910s. Some of his movies include: Oliver Twist, Business is Business, and Wall Street Tragedy. He passed away in 1919 at the age of 61.
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that this special poster is not dated, but the previous owner did research on it and found out from a historian for the National Theatre in Washington, D.C. that this poster is from a production of the comedy "An American Citizen", and that it played at that theater during the week of February 8, 1897. Included with the poster is a page from a 1904 issue of Life Magazine, which has an image of Mr. Goodwin, when he appeared in a play called "The Usurper". Note that this poster has a FACSIMILE autograph that is within the printing of the poster (the poster has NOT been personally autographed). Also note that this special poster is printed on a heavyweight paper stock like that used on window cards, but it measures 13" x 18".

Condition: very good. There is some darkening around the edges, but the poster is in pretty nice condition, especially considering it is 117 years old!
