Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster originally had a blank top that was neatly trimmed off at the very top of the image area (this is commonly done with Belgian posters, similar to how the blank top is trimmed off of U.S. window cards). The poster also had two horizontal folds an inch apart near the original middle of the poster, with some creases and scuffs on both folds. There were a few tiny dots of paper loss in the image and some tiny dot stains. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and the restorer replaced a thin strip of the top blank border (to match the other three borders).
