An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Buried Alive, the 1939 Victor Halperin prison crime murder romantic melodrama ("Turbulent melodrama behind prison walls!"; about a prison nurse in love with a trustee, who is on a furlough and about to be released from prison, but he gets mixed up in a fight with a reporter, and the reporter threatens to write a negative article about the prison, so the trustee's release is canceled, and his life goes from bad to worse when he is falsely accused of a prison murder and sentenced to the electric chair, but the prison officials pretend to electrocute him, knowing that the real murderer will confess after he is "dead", which he does, and he is cleared, and is freed to love the nurse) starring Beverly Roberts, Robert Wilcox, Paul McVey, George Pembroke, Ted Osborn, Wheeler Oakman, and Edward Earle NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. There is water staining in the bottom right corner, but it is much more noticeable on the back than it is on the front.
