An Original Vintage Theatrical Tri-Folded Japanese "B2" Movie Poster (measures 20 1/4" x 27 3/4" [51 x 70 cm]) (Learn More) Shin Zatoichi Monogatari (released in the U.S. as "New Tale of Zatoichi"), the 1963 Tokuzo Tanaka Japanese blind swordsman samurai action thriller sequel starring Shintaro Katsu (in the title role as "Zatoichi"), Mikiko Tsubouchi, Seizaburo Kawazu, Fujio Suga, and Mieko Kondo. Note that this is the third (of many) Zatoichi movies, and the first to be filmed in color. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have never auctioned one in all our years of auctioning! Note also that this is a "country of origin" poster for this Japanese movie! Also note that this Japanese B2 poster measures 20 1/4" x 27 3/4" [51 x 70 cm]. Finally, note that this poster was tri-folded only (which means there is no vertical machine fold) but because it would be more expensive to send flat, it will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good. The upper edge of the poster has been folded back and glued (it is not trimmed). A small stick was once placed in that area to assist with hanging and the folded edge has darkened (see our image). It has light creases scattered throughout. After proper restoration the ultra rare poster will display well, but bear in mind the poster's condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it. Learn More about condition grades
