An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (11x14; LC; measures 11" x 14") (Learn More)

Murder in the Air, the 1940 Lewis Seiler spy espionage military war action thriller ("Hidden enemies, Stolen Secrets, Sudden Death!"; "A battle aboard a doomed dirigible!"; there are spies and secret agents everywhere, and Ronald Reagan needs to save the day; no doubt he carried memories of this movie during his Presidential years!) starring Ronald Reagan, John Litel, Lya Lys, James Stephenson, Eddie Foy Jr., and Robert Warwick. Note that this movie was the final sequel to the popular "Secret Service of the Air" (there were three previous movies), all based on the same source material, and all starring Ronald Reagan! All four movies came out in a little over a year. Also note that Lya Lys was a German-born French actress who had appeared in some Hollywood MGM movies in the very early 1930s. She signed a contract with Warner Bros. in 1939, and she appeared in three of their movies, and this was the final one. After, there were no more film roles, but she rebounded with work as a cabaret singer, and she married for a fourth time and retired, and passed away in 1986 at the age of 78.

Condition: fair to good. Someone cut out an 8" x 10" section of the image area with a razor (no doubt to display it as a still), and then someone else was able to tape it back in to the rest of the card with brown paper tape on the back (it is not very noticeable from the front of the card).
