Artist: Roger Kastel Important Added Info: Note that this is surely one of the absolute most desirable one-sheets of the 1970s, and people put a high premium on finding one that has never been folded. The vast majority of the known examples of this poster are fully folded, but a few are tri-folded only, and a very few are completely unfolded. This example is completely unfolded (and it is absolutely an original one-sheet from 1975, and we give a lifetime guarantee on that, as we do on every poster we auction!). In 2019, we auctioned a different excellent unfolded example of this poster for $4,100 and that one came from a man who worked at Universal Studios in 1975. Now we are auctioning another example from the same consignor who worked at Universal in 1975, but this one has condition defects as noted below. Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. It has small paper loss in the top left blank corner and in the lower right blank border. It has a few tiny creases scattered throughout with a tiny scuff mark near the middle of the right dark blue border. Other than the above the poster is in nice condition and of course it was never folded. Since the main defects are the two small areas of paper loss in the blank borders, it could certainly be displayed without restoration, or it would be very simple for any talented restorer to correct the above defects while either paperbacking or linenbacking the poster. Either way, the new owner of this poster will have a rare unfolded example of this most desirable one-sheet. Learn More about condition grades
