An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Foreign Three-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 41" x 81") (Learn More) Sometimes a Great Notion (released in other English-speaking countries as "Never Give an Inch"), the 1971 Paul Newman Oregon logging family action adventure melodrama ("'Never Give A Inch' was the motto of The Stampers of Oregon...and live it they did!"; "Hear Charley Pride, winner of The Country and Western Award for Best Male Vocalist 1971, sing: 'All His Children'"; about a family of loggers in the northwest U.S., who "never give an inch", which was the name of the excellent source novel by Ken Kesey, also author of "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest") starring Paul Newman, Henry Fonda, Lee Remick, Michael Sarrazin, Richard Jaeckel (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), Linda Lawson, and Cliff Potts NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this poster was stamped "FOREIGN" which means it was printed for use outside the United States (there would also have been posters stamped "DOMESTIC" for use within the United States). This item is in REALLY nice condition (what many dealers would describe as "fine" or "near mint")! It has only the very most minor of defects! We put this "fine" grade on 220 of the 617 posters we are selling (this is a far greater percentage than normal, but it is not because we have relaxed our standards, but rather because these posters came from a single consignor, and are in truly remarkable condition!).
