He is likely best remembered for directing The Silence of the Lambs (winner of the Best Director Academy Award for this film). Some of his other movies include: Caged Heat, Philadelphia, and The Manchurian Candidate. He passed away in 2017 at the age of 73. Important Added Info: Note that this REPRODUCTION still has been personally autographed (signed) by Jonathan Demme! The consignor of this autographed item (and a large number of other signed items in this auction) is a longtime autograph collector who does not have a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) for this item, but he feels certain it is genuine.
