Date Sold 6/11/2020 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 30 Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Stills (Learn More) Bloodbrothers, the 1978 Robert Mulligan romantic friendship melodrama ("How do you tell people you love you have to do it on your own?"; "The story of ambition and triumph."; "The story of a hero."; "Based on the novel by Richard Price") starring Paul Sorvino ("The Uncle"; "His compassion can't cool his family's explosive emotions."), Tony Lo Bianco, Richard Gere (in the movie that brought him fame!), Robert Englund, Yvonne Wilder, and Marilu Henner (in her second movie!) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that these stills appear in every way to be original U.S. release EXCEPT that there is one very tiny line of French type in the lower right of each still. It reads, "IMPRIME AUX ETATS-UNIS D'AMERIQUE". A collector has told us that he believes this means the stills were printed for use in areas that included French-speaking parts of Canada, but that they WERE printed in the U.S., and that makes complete sense to us (and we have seen this on stills from the 1940s through the early 2000s, so it has certainly been done for an extremely long time)! So they are original stills from 1978, but they were printed partially for use in French-speaking Canada. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Also note that this auction also includes the printed envelope this item originally came with! Condition: very good to fine.
