Leo McCarey's An Affair To Remember, the classic 1957 Leo McCarey New York City doomed romance melodrama ("In Italy ...on the Mediterranean ...across an ocean ...and all over New York!"; "Original story by Leo McCarey and Mildred Cram"; a remake of the 1939 Love Affair; about a woman who meets an engaged playboy, and they fall madly in love, and he agrees to completely change his life and to meet her on the top of the Empire State Building on a specific date, but then fate intervenes) starring Cary Grant, Deborah Kerr, Richard Denning, Neva Patterson, Cathleen Nesbitt, Robert Q. Lewis, Charles Watts, Fortunio Bonanova (billed as "Fortunato Bonanova"), Matt Moore, Louis Mercier, Geraldine Wall, Nora Marlowe, Sarah Selby, Alberto Morin, Genevieve Aumont, and Jesslyn Fax. Note that the early scenes in the movie that take plate on a cruise ship were filmed on the real life luxury liner, the S.S. Constitution, which is why they seem so real!
