An Original Vintage Unfolded World War II Poster (measures 28 1/4" x 40" [72 x 102 cm]) (Learn More) Buy a Share in America, the 1941 U.S. World War II (WWII) War Bond poster ("Defense savings bonds and stamps") encouraging people to buy war bonds, and featuring Henry Billings art of a hand inserting a coin into a piggy bank shaped like the United States! Artist: Henry Billings Important Added Info: Note that this is one of a remarkable group of around 100 guaranteed authentic mostly war posters (around 75 war posters, plus 25 others, including political ones) mostly dating from before 1900 through 1945, with 15 from after that date! These were originally acquired by an archive decades ago, and they have been in storage ever since, until they were recently consigned to us. Many of these are the sorts of posters that you can find reproductions of on the Internet, but finding guaranteed originals like these is incredibly difficult (years can go by before these are offered for sale or at auction). This is a very rare opportunity to purchase any of these more than 100 posters! Condition: very good. The poster was never folded. It has a few tiny tears and tiny paper loss in the lower left blank border and the most minor of wear in the other borders. It has a light footprint in the bottom center. Otherwise, the poster is in pretty nice condition, especially considering its age (and it has never had any restoration or tape on the back). After a relatively simple linenbacking, the poster will look fantastic! Learn More about condition grades
