An Original Vintage Theatrical 7 1/2" x 8 1/4" [19 x 21 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Alexis Smith (born Gladys Smith) was a Canadian actress from the 1940s to the 1990s. Some of her mostly Warner Bros. movies include: The Constant Nymph, The Adventures of Mark Twain, Undercover Girl, and Gentleman Jim. She was married to actor Craig Stevens in 1944, and amazingly, for a Hollywood marriage, they stayed together all the way until she passed away in 1993, at the age of 72, having been married for 49 years (Stevens passed away in 2000). Important Added Info: Note that this still measures 7 1/2" x 8 1/4" [19 x 21 cm], but it has not been trimmed. Note that this still likely has a stamp on the back in the form of a diamond that has the letters "TRR". One certainly might wonder who placed this stamp there and why. The answer is that 160 of the stills in this set of auctions come to us from a still collector who has collected for many decades, and long ago he began stamping the back of almost his stills with this stamp, and "TRR" is his initials! Each of those stills is stamped lightly, and the stamp does NOT affect the front of the still. He is a VERY advanced collector, and he has consigned many wonderful stills to us! Condition: good to very good. There are glue stains on the back of each corner which very slightly affect the front of some of those areas (see our images). Otherwise, the still is in nice condition!
