An Undated (probably 1940s) Re-Release Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

Missing Girls, the 1936 Phil Rosen gambling politics kidnapping gangster murder crime thriller ("Martin Mooney's Daring Expose") starring Roger Pryor, Muriel Evans, Sidney Blackmer, Noel Madison, Ann Doran, and George Cooper. The title of this movie is pretty deceptive, because the "missing girls" are only a small part of the movie, which mostly concerns a senator who wants to legalize gambling in his state, and the gamblers who run the gambling shoot him to kill the bill, and then pin the murder on someone else.

Important Added Info: Note that this card is from when Sack Amusement Enterprises re-released this title, likely in the late 1940s. Sack was a company that almost exclusively distributed black African American movies in the 1930s and 1940s, but apparently they branched out into other movies. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: good. There are some tape repairs on the back.
