An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) Brawn of the North, the 1922 Laurence Trimble silent Alaska Yukon canine dog action adventure thriller ("Twixt love and duty"; "His eyes stabbed hers to terror - 'You're the first woman I've seen in three years'") starring Strongheart (billed as "The Wonder Dog of 'The Silent Call'"; a German Shepherd dog who was the equal of Rin Tin Tin in early silent movies, but is sadly forgotten today by all but the most dedicated of movie buffs), Irene Rich, Lee Shumway, Joseph Barrell, and Roger James Manning. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: very good.
