Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned two examples of this window card, and only one in the last 23 years (that example sold for $495). Also note that this poster has been paperbacked. What is paperbacking? This means the poster was backed onto a paper backing (acid-free), that is similar in feel to that of the original poster (except somewhat heavier). It is a similar process to linenbacking, except that most collectors use linenbacking for one-sheets and paperbacking for half-sheets, inserts, window cards, and lobby cards. What IS paperbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good to very good. The card was folded across the middle and it had creases along that fold. It had paper loss at the left end of that fold and paper loss in the top of the card that affected part of the letters of "CLIFTON THEATRE". It had some creases and tears around the edges. Overall, the card was in good condition prior to paperbacking. The card was pretty well backed, but you can see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
