A Group Of 3 Original Vintage Photographic Transparencies (measure 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm]) (Learn More) Jayne Mansfield was an actress from the 1950s to the 1960s. Some of her movies include: Will Success Spoil Rock Hunter?, The Girl Can't Help It, and A Guide for the Married Man. She never achieved the kind of mainstream success that Marilyn Monroe did, and she died tragically in an auto accident in 1967 at the age of 34. She was previously married to weightlifter Mickey Hargitay, and her daughter with Hargitay is Mariska Hargitay (the TV actress best known for her work on "Law and Order: SVU") Important Added Info: Note that these are "studio-issued" transparencies. What are they? They were produced by the studio but are not the camera original. They are very high quality and were created in quantity by the studios and sent to media outlets or other places that had need of the very highest quality image for reproduction purposes (in newspapers, magazines, or elsewhere). A clear border around a 4x5 transparency denotes duplication from a negative source, a black border denotes duplication from a positive source. Each of the transparencies is in a plastic sleeve (but we removed each and scanned them, so that bidders could see just how high quality they are). They will be sent to the winner of the auction in their plastic sleeves. Condition: good to very good. The color of one transparency has "shifted" from how it originally was, but otherwise, it is in nice condition. The image can be "color corrected" to look as it originally was.
