Date Sold 3/25/2018Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 6 local theater bond drive magazines. Note that the items in this lot are from the 1940s, during World War II. This was an "in house" publication from the Hardy Irvin Theatre for its employees, and each issue detailed what the theater was doing to raise money for war bonds. We don't know how many issues there were, but the six we have seen are mimeographed and stapled, and have between six and sixteen pages. They are a fascinating look at a segment of America in the middle of World War II, and what was being done on the Home Front to support the troops. They are very similar to another local theater magazine from the same theater, called "Hi! Gang", and these may have been published before or after those (we have a separate bulk lot of four issues of "Hi! Gang"). If anyone knows more about this publication, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Measurements: 8 1/2 11Condition: very good. Learn More about condition grades Titles included:
