She Dances! She Loves!"; "She's out of this world... In Technicolor!"; "They say she kissed 2000 men!"; "Songs by Allan Roberts and Doris Fisher"; "Magic enchantment that takes you out of this world..."; about the real life goddess Terpsichore coming down to Earth after seeing how she is portrayed in a Broadway musical!) starring Rita Hayworth, Larry Parks, Marc Platt, Roland Culver, James Gleason, Edward Everett Horton, Adele Jergens, George Macready, William Frawley, James Burke, and Virginia Hunter. Note that there is an oddity about the posters for this movie. They have a 1946 NSS number, and yet the movie was not released until August of 1947. Perhaps it was intended for a December 1946 release (to qualify for awards), but when the movie was not ready in time, it ended up getting pushed back until the following August. Important Added Info: Note that we have never auctioned this English advance poster (which measures 25 1/4" x 40" [64 x 102 cm]) before! It has wonderful different sexy art of Rita Hayworth that we have not seen on any other poster, and it also has great reviews of the movie from English journalists (because they got to see the movie at an advance screening before it was first released in England, which was ten days after the U.S. release). There is also a great description of Rita Hayworth at the top of the poster that reads "She's all the Hayworth you ever loved - rolled into one!". Condition: very good. There is 1 1/2" of vertical separation at the top and bottom crossfolds, with some creases along the top and bottom horizontal folds and minor wear on the other folds. There are some creases around the edges. There are brown stains on the back of the top left corner of the poster that do not show through to the front, except in one tiny area. The poster can certainly be displayed and enjoyed as it is, or it could have a simple linenbacking. Learn More about condition grades
