Artist: Tom Jung Important Added Info: Note that a knowledgeable collector tells us that this is a very rare promotional advertisement for the release of Star Wars on the Pioneer laserdisc system in Japan in 1989. This is only the third example we have ever auctioned! Condition: good. The poster has slight discoloration scattered in some areas (although it is mostly only noticeable in the credits and in blank white paper around the edges.) It has darkened along the back of the lower half where there is some tape staining in a few areas. This is the kind of poster that responds really well to restoration. It is likely that many or most of the tiny stains can be removed chemically, and after proper restoration the poster will look fantastic, but bear in mind the poster's condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it.
