Jennifer Jones in a performance as memorable as those she gave in 'DUEL IN THE SUN', and 'SONG OF BERNADETTE'."; "A performance as memorable as those she gave in 'The Song of Bernadette' and Duel In The Sun'."; "Alexander Korda presents a production of The Archers"; "Lost to a love without question!... Note that two of the greatest people in film history clashed on the making of this movie! The original version in 1950 was called "Gone to Earth", and producer David O. Selznick was distressed to see that his beautiful young wife Jennifer Jones did not have nearly as much screen time as he wished! That led to a court battle between Powell and Selznick, and ultimately, the movie was re-edited and re-released two years later as "The Wild Heart", retaining only two-thirds of the original movie, with the added one-third including many close-ups of Jennifer Jones! The poster was never folded. There were some creases and tears in the top border and in the right border. Overall, the poster was in very good to fine condition prior to linenbacking.
