McCarthy silent New York City Broadway stage acting romantic love triangle comedy ("From the story by Rayner Selig"; about a smart aleck salesgirl who is fired for talking back to customers, and a dapper young man gets her a job in a Broadway play, and she meets a rich man who wants to smooth out her rough edges, but ultimately, she ends up with the young man, who is actually a jewel thief) starring Sally O'Neil (in the title role as Rebecca O'Brien McCloskey), Owen Moore, Harry Crocker, Gertrude Olmstead, Mack Swain, and Claude King. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper items from this movie are incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned a scene card and a few 8x10 stills from this movie (and NO other movie paper of any kind) until we received this title card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: fair to good. The entire card has darkened somewhat. It has tack holes, smudges, and paint stains around the edges. There are a number of tiny stains scattered in the image and tiny paper loss and a 1" tear in the center of the top border. This is the sort of card that responds really well to professional restoration. It is likely that much or all of the smudges and stains can be removed through chemical means, and of course, most of the pinholes are in the blank borders, and after proper restoration, the card will display well. Please look closely at our images of the front and back of this card before bidding. Note that this card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
