An 1948 Realart Re-release Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card #5 (measures 11" x 14") (Learn More) The Mummy's Tomb, the 1942 Harold Young Universal Egyptian curse revenge monster horror thriller ("The Fear of the Year!"; "Original Story, Neil P. Varnick") starring Lon Chaney Jr. (in the title role and his first appearance as the Mummy!), Dick Foran, John Hubbard, Elyse Knox, George Zucco, Wallace Ford, and Turhan Bey ("The Man of Mystery") NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: There was a 1/2" tear near the middle of the bottom border extending to the "M" of "TOMB". Someone put a piece of clear tape on the middle of the left and right borders (probably to attach it to a wall, and not for any restoration purpose). There is tape on the extreme edge of both left blank corners. There is tiny surface paper loss near the center of the top blank border and surface paper loss in the middle of the bottom border (this is the area where the repaired tear is, and it appears that someone did very slight touch up to the bottom of the background area below the "O" of "TOMB", to cover surface paper loss there). Other than the above basically minor defects, the card is in quite nice condition and has had no other restoration other than what was described above. Condition: very good.
