Important Added Info: Note that first release 1932 posters and lobby cards from this movie are incredibly rare. We have only auctioned a one-sheet and two different scene cards from this movie until we received this lobby card! Note that this lobby card has been trimmed and it now measures 11" x 13 1/2". Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. What IS gelbacking? Learn More Condition: good. The card had 1/4" trimmed from the left and right blank borders and it had stains scattered throughout, with paper loss in the corners. Overall, the card was in fair condition prior to restoration. A talented restorer gel backed the card (meaning they backed the card onto a gel material) and they then performed restoration to the above defects (but they did not replace the missing small portions of the blank borders), and then removed the gel backing, so that the card still looks and feels like an original card (and it is!), with no backing at all. Given the card's defects described above, the restorer did a pretty good job, but you can see signs of the defects and the restoration, but the card displays pretty well (see our super-sized images to get a good sense of exactly how the card looks now).
