An Original Vintage Theatrical Paperbacked Insert Movie Poster (measures 14" x 36") (Learn More) Sundown on the Prairie, the 1939 Albert Herman singing cowboy western musical starring Tex Ritter, White Flash (billed as "and his horse White Flash"), Louise Massey and The Westerners, Horace Murphy, Dorothy Fay, Karl Hackett, Charles King, and Dave O'Brien NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: fine. This poster was paperbacked and during the backing process, its extremely minor defects were repaired and it now looks really great! We only assigned this grade ("fine") to posters that were in really excellent condition prior to paperbacking, AND which were paperbacked by a top professional! The poster had extra creases along the foldlines and some minor smudges and scuffs throughout the image. The borders of the poster were somewhat tattered, slightly extending into the edges of the image. The person who did the restoration put new blank white paper over all the borders to even out the appearance (but the small writing at the bottom of the poster was not covered over). This is a common technique used by several top restorers. It is done so well that the majority of collectors are not even aware it has been done, and many do not feel it to be a significant detraction (since it is only blank white area).
